Biography Stephen Keep Mills
Stephen Keep Mills was born in South Carolina in 1947. He attended Columbia University in New York and received his MFA from The Yale Drama School. He has acted professionally since 1969 with theatre companies around the U.S. and Canada. He has appeared on Broadway, Off-Broadway and as a guest star on over thirty televison shows, the most recent being Quantum Leap. Mr. Mills began to write for the theatre in 1985, beginning with a one-man show: KNICKERBOCKER'S NEW YORK adapted from Washington Irving. He next produced, directed and acted in this current version of A CHRISTMAS CAROL--THE GHOST STORY OF CHRISTMAS. Many short pieces and four full length original works have now taken over the keyboard with recognition coming in from Actors Theatre of Louisville, Manhattan-where some of his writing was first heard in public readings--and, locally, in Los Angeles where he and his family have returned from the Hudson Valley.
